The taste is soft and velvety. Sweetness of nutmeg and hazelnut, dark chocolate, a bit of dried plums. Pleasant bitterness of resin and coniferous trees. The tea clearly refreshes, awakens and fills with energy.
Appearance
A brick weighing 250 grams consists of a small fraction characteristic of Gong Ting. The pressing is medium, the edges easily break off in the hands, but the core is denser. The color of the dry leaf includes all shades of brown.
Taste and aroma
When heated with breath, the aroma is nutty-chocolate with a hint of wet wood and camphor. Fill with boiling water and get a black, thick, almost opaque infusion. The aroma intensifies. The taste is soft and velvety. The sweetness of nutmeg and hazelnut, dark chocolate, a touch of dried plums. Pleasant bitterness of resin and coniferous trees.
Effect
Tea noticeably refreshes, awakens and fills with energy. Understandable state in good tone.
How to brew
Brewing in a Gongfu teapot
- Water: 90-95°C
- Amount of tea: 6-8 g
Do not forget to rinse and awaken the tea with a technical pour.
First pour: 10 seconds
Subsequent pours: gradually increase the steeping time by 6+ seconds.
Brewing in a gaiwan or clay teapot
- Water: 90-95°C
- Amount of tea: 6 g per 100 ml
Place the tea in a well-warmed gaiwan or teapot and let it warm up for 10 seconds.
First infusion: 10 seconds
Subsequent infusions: gradually increase the steeping time by 6+ seconds
