GABA Farm, A, 2025
The infusion is wheat-yellow in colour, oily, with the aroma of birch sap, notes of clover and lilac flowers, fruity tones of currant, pear and plum, and familiar baked notes. The tea is unsweetened, delicate and refreshing.
Basic Taiwanese GABA oolong.
The aroma of dry tea is sour, fresh, with subtle spicy notes. The infusion is wheat-yellow in colour, oily, with the aroma of birch sap, notes of clover and lilac flowers, fruity tones of currant, pear and plum, and familiar baked notes. The tea is unsweetened, delicate and refreshing.
Like Te Guan Yin, this oolong is about spring. But while classic Te Guan Yin evokes a May garden in full bloom, the middle of spring, filled with the aroma of flowers and herbs, this GABA oolong is about the earliest weeks of March, when the earth awakens from its winter slumber. This tea is perfect for contemplating the changing weather outside the window, complementing the evening with its soft, calming effect and smoothing out springtime anxiety. A tea of anticipation, a foretaste of spring greenery and blossoms.
An excellent GABA oolong in its price range.
