Reddish-brown, with green flecks, the little pearls smell spicy and sweet: cloves, black pepper, nutmeg, vanilla and a confectionery chord of buttery pastry. As the breath warms, the aroma becomes more gingery, almost bland, with notes of cinnamon, ginger and the sweetness of the caramel crust on the crème brûlée.

The oily yellow-honey colored brew with a slight greenish tinge smells of plum cookies. The taste has the characteristic muted acidity of dried fruits, warm and smooth, light, refreshing, floral and fruity, with a creamy note. There are notes of homemade shortbread cookies, Ceylon floral-sweet cinnamon, notes of ripe plum and green grapes. The spirit leaf is large, brownish-red and smells of poppy seed bun.
