Da Hong Pao 888, AA, 2025
An excellent representative of Da Hong Pao with medium heat. Has many sweet notes, some tobacco and embers, giving a distinct state of balanced focus along with a rich palette of aromas. Refreshes the mind.
The most famous rock oolong from Wuyishan.
The medium-sized dark brown tea leaves undergo multiple rolling, strong fermentation and medium heating during production. This gives the tea an incredible warmth that you will feel in your cup.
The aroma of the dry leaves is spicy and bready, with a pronounced note of salted caramel. The thick orange-coloured infusion smells of tobacco, campfire smoke and baked fruit. The taste of the tea is velvety, soft, creamy and toffee-like, with notes of chocolate, black bread and dried rose hips. The aftertaste is rough, tart and refreshing.
A very warm, almost scorching hot tea. It relaxes, gently invigorates and clears the mind. It will be a suitable companion for long periods of intense work.
