A noble green tea from Jiangsu Province.
The unique aroma of this tea is due to its growing conditions. The plantations are surrounded by orchards of peach, tangerine, and apricot trees. The tea leaves are picked during flowering, allowing the tea to absorb their aromatic notes.
All the dried tea leaves are uniform in size and carefully twisted into spirals, called "snails." The dried leaves are bright green with a white-silver fluff. The aroma reveals distinct fresh fruity notes.
The first steeping is emerald-white, with subsequent steeps yielding a light green infusion. The aroma is fresh and fruity, with a subtle peach note. The taste is delicate and refreshing, with fruity, caramel-honey notes and a slight smokiness. A rich, honeyed aftertaste with a very subtle, barely noticeable astringency.
A delicate, soothing evening tea. Perfect with any dish.
