"Black gold from Manduai village" is how the name of this tea can be translated. Despite its young age, the tea already displays a distinctive structure and a pure terroir.
The large, elongated leaf is olive-green with golden flecks, featuring prominent light-colored buds, pressed into a medium-density cake.
The infusion is clear, light golden in color, with a slight green tint. The taste is fresh, lively, and energetic, with notes of green grass, floral nuances, a slight citrus tartness, and a honeyed sweetness in the aftertaste. A mineral note and a slight dryness characteristic of young Sheng Pu Erh are noticeable.
This tea has potential—it is lively and vibrant now, but will deepen and soften with time. It is distinctly invigorating, clears the mind, and leaves a feeling of energy and lightness.
