The tea leaves of Bai Ye Dan Cong were processed into red tea by withering in small cloth bags in the sun and then in the shade. The resulting tea is very interesting, complex, and unique.
Bai Ye Dan Cong is grown in the village of Lin Tou in northern Raoping County (Guangdong Province). This variety is characterized by its arching form, large crown, and light yellow-green inflorescences. The aroma combines floral and honey notes with a rich, tart nectarine undertone.
