Red tea Charlotte, Georgia, A, 2025
Georgian red tea with the aroma of apple pie. The flavor is juicy, warm, fiery, and slightly sweet and sour: green apples, cinnamon, and a sugary, biscuit-like note, just like a real charlotte. The tea warms and lifts the mood well, calms and gives a soft tone.
Georgian red tea with the aroma of apple pie.
Long, longitudinally twisted, russet-brown leaves with a bright, citrusy, refreshing aroma of lemon, Antonovka apples, and blackberries. When warmed, the leaves develop a caramel-biscuit accent.
The infusion is brick-red in color with the characteristic aroma of homemade apple pastries. The flavor is juicy, warm, fiery, and slightly sweet and sour: green apples, cinnamon, and a sugary, biscuit-like note, just like a real charlotte, but also with notes of currant leaf and ripe melon. A citrus-like tartness is noticeable, characteristic of red Georgian teas. The tea has a cozy and warming taste, with a slight tannin viscosity. The aftertaste is sour and floral.
A wonderful tea, comparable to many Chinese teas, cozy and fragrant. It warms and lifts the mood well, calms and gives a soft tone, as if hugging you with a warm blanket.
