Appearance
The golden-brown buds and leaves are twisted into thin ropes. The dry tea's aroma is honey-rye, revealing a strong buckwheat honey scent in a heated gaiwan.
Taste and aroma
The infusion is dark red, deep, and full-bodied, with aromas of rye bread crust, vanilla, and fruit. The flavor is rich, honey and woody, with light notes of dried fruit, spices, and lemony tartness. The finish is velvety, slightly rough, and pleasant.
Effect
An excellent everyday tea. Warms, refreshes, invigorates, and relieves stress and fatigue. Especially good for cold days.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 6-7 g per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-15 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 2 g per 250 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes
