High-altitude red tea produced in the Panchthar region.
The raw materials for this tea grow at an altitude of 2,200 metres in an ecologically clean region. The buds and two leaves from the spring harvest of 2025 are used in production. The final fermentation takes place in banana leaves, which gives the tea a delicate sweet banana aroma.
The infusion is a beautiful amber colour with a red rim, floral and fruity notes and a slight tartness. The sweet aroma of banana offsets the austerity of red tea and gives it new playful nuances.
The tea is invigorating, refreshing and energising.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 5-6 g per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 5-10 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 2 g per 250 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes
