Shai Hong Mao Feng from Feng Qing, A, 2025
This is an everyday tea that will wake you up and warm you up in the early morning, as well as fill a chilly evening with cosiness and warmth.
The leaves are large, twisted lengthwise, and when warmed by breath, they give off aromas of dried fruit and grapevine. Steamed leaves smell like sweet apple jam.
The infusion is golden-red in colour with a smooth, distinct taste with notes of dried apples and linden honey. It has a long creamy honey aftertaste with a subtle nutty note.
