The famous Yunnan Shai Hong ‘Chinese Dream’ was produced in 2023 from raw materials sourced from large century-old Pu Erh trees in Mengsong, Menghai. It is an interesting tea that combines the qualities of Sheng Pu Erh and red tea.

Appearance

The medium-density tea cake consists of beautiful brown leaves with lots of golden buds. The aroma of the dry leaves is delicate and creamy, and when warmed by breath, a sweet smell of raisins and bread appears.

Taste and aroma

The infusion is rich, clear, transparent, amber-yellow in colour with the aroma of honey, pollen and dried fruit. The taste is soft, rounded, sweet, with notes of prunes and dates, and a slight woody tartness. The aftertaste is long, warm and soft.
