A popular and beloved Wuyi oolong. It is crafted in the traditional style, involving repeated rolling and charcoal roasting. It is a full-bodied, well-balanced tea with a vibrant and intriguing aroma.

The small, dark, lengthwise-rolled leaves offer a rich, mellow, and spicy aroma. After the first infusion, the scent deepens and becomes complex, revealing notes of wood, florals, caramel, and berries.

The liquor is clear and pure, with a reddish-copper hue. The taste is velvety, balanced, and full-bodied—featuring bready and spicy qualities alongside notes of dark chocolate and biscuit, with undertones of wood resin, oriental spices, and berries. It leaves a warm, slightly sweet, and pleasantly astringent aftertaste.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
• Water: 90-95°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 3-4 g per 100 ml of water

Brew in short infusions of 5-10 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 10-15 seconds.

Infusion method
