Highly fermented red tea from Yunnan Province.
The dry leaves are thin, long, flattened, and dark brown with golden fuzz. The aroma is rich and juicy, with notes of dried apricot, cocoa, and bread.
The infusion is light orange with a distinct rim. The finished tea has a deep and warm flavor, with citrus, nutty, and resinous notes and a slight tartness. The aftertaste is oily, slightly rough, and refreshing.
An excellent everyday choice. This tea warms, refreshes, and uplifts the mood.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 6-7 g per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-15 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 2 g per 250 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes
