A high-mountain early spring tea from Henan Province with a soft, delicate flavor and aroma.
Appearance
The bud and first leaf are rolled into a thin, curved, olive-green needle with a delicate fuzz. The aroma of the dry tea is delicate, creamy-floral, buttery-nutty, with a subtle yeasty note. Steamed leaves reveal a fresh aroma of juicy grass and a citrusy tartness.
Taste and aroma
The infusion is silvery-lemon in color with an airy, soft aroma that fades into florality and freshness as it steeps. The drink's flavor is light, soft, lemony-vegetable, with a slight bitterness and tartness of spring flowers. The finish is rough and sweet, with notes of pumpkin seeds.
Effect
A stunning green tea with a spring aroma. Refreshing, invigorating, perfect for the first half of the day.
