Sheng Pu Erh Sanning, Yunnan, A, 2023

Sheng Pu Erh from Yunnan Province, harvested 2023. The tea is pressed into a traditional 357g tea cake. The raw material is pure and carefully processed, retaining the natural energy of the fresh leaf and the potential for further maturation. This tea can be drunk now or left to mature and watch it develop over the years.

A dense tea cake with a light olive hue. The leaf is large, with visible whole leaf fragments and silvery buds.

A clear, golden-amber infusion with a distinct sheen, with a fresh, structured, and multi-layered profile. The aroma is clean, with mountain freshness. The taste features floral notes, a slight grassiness, and accents of green apple and fresh honey. The aftertaste is long, slightly sweet, with a delicate cooling effect on the tongue.

This tea provides a feeling of freshness, concentration, and light inner energy. Perfect for morning and afternoon drinking.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water

The first steeping is for rinsing the tea.

Brew in short infusions of 5-7 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.

Infusion method

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 1 g. per 100 ml of water

Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
