Sheng Pu Erh, produced from the leaves of ancient trees from Mount Nannuo in Yunnan Province. A distinctive feature of this region's tea trees is their small leaves, which produce a vibrant, floral, juicy, and rich aroma, along with a sweet, slightly bitter taste.

The leaves are velvety, greenish-gray, and fuzzed. The aroma is delicate, creamy, and peach-like. As the tea warms, the peach aroma intensifies, revealing notes of fresh honey, mixed herbs, and flower nectar.

The infusion is golden, with a slightly spicy aroma with hints of medicinal herbs. The tea's flavor is sweet and sour, warming, with a slight citrus bitterness: green apple, gooseberry, grapefruit, and a light melon sweetness. As the tea steeps, the sweetness fades into the aftertaste, and the spicy, bitter notes of the medicinal herbs become more pronounced. A bittersweet, viscous aftertaste.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water

The first steeping is for rinsing the tea.

Brew in short infusions of 5-7 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.

Infusion method

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 1 g. per 100 ml of water

Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
