High-altitude Nepalese oolong. A distinctive feature of the production process is the long ageing period (eight days) in chambers with low oxygen content. The result is an interesting, unique tea with a delicate creamy texture.
High-altitude Nepalese oolong from the 2025 spring harvest.
The raw materials for this tea grow at an altitude of 2,200 metres in the ecologically clean Panchthar region. The bud and two leaves are used in production.
A distinctive feature of the production process is the long ageing period (eight days) in chambers with low oxygen content. The result is an interesting, unique tea with a delicate creamy texture.
The brew is rich, bright, clean and deep. The aroma is pronounced, fruity, with light spicy notes. The taste is complex, sweetish, with floral-fruity, woody notes and spicy nuances. The aftertaste is long, velvety, warm, with a slight tannin.
It refreshes, relaxes and improves the mood.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: porcelain, ceramic or glass gaiwan
- Water: 75-80°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-30 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 5-6 infusions.
Infusion method
- Teaware: porcelain, ceramic or glass teapot
- Water: 75-80°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 2 g. per 200 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes.
