Appearance
Dark brown strands with a few stems, tightly pressed into a bamboo basket. The dry tea has a distinct, sweet, and mellow aroma.
Taste and aroma
The aroma of the finished tea is clean and juicy. The flavor is distinctive, moderately strong, spicy, fruity, and woody, with hints of berries and citrus, and a slight tartness. The finish is long, warm, and sweet, with a refreshing tartness.
Effect
A pleasant everyday hei cha with a balanced flavor and aroma. It pleasantly warms, refreshes, and harmonizes the body and mind.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 5-7 g per 100-150 ml of water
Brew in short infusions of 15-20 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 1-1.5 g per 200 ml of water
Infuse for 10-15 minutes.
