The tea's aroma is rich and warm, with notes of honey and dried fruit, and a slight woody tartness. The flavor is buttery, enveloping, and structured, with fruity notes, hints of cocoa bean and caramel, a tartness of buckwheat honey, and a slight mineral salinity. The finish is long, persistent, sweet-tart, nectar-like, and slightly spicy.
