GABA He Huan Shan, ААА, 2025
A warm, autumnal aroma of bark, milk, dried herbs, fallen leaves, overripe rose hips and oatmeal cookies. The taste matches: an infusion with a grassy, sour note, a slight bitterness and the same aftertaste.
Appearance
The appearance of this GABA oolong resembles dried blueberries. Dense pearl balls of ruby-brown color smell of milk, bark and juicy fresh greenery.
Taste and aroma
The infusion is orange-yellow, reminiscent of rosehip decoction, with a medicinal aroma, clover sourness. The taste is rich, powerful and straightforward, milky-vegetable, clover-grassy, with a delicate honey and light bitterness in the aftertaste.
Effect
The state is powerful, relaxed, calm. Very characteristic GABA, although without confectionery sweetness, despite the noticeable warming.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
- Water: 85-90°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-30 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 5-6 infusions.

- Water: 85-90°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 5 g. per 250-300 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes.
