Darjeeling Namring, A, 2025
An Indian red tea grown on one of the oldest Namring plantations in Darjeeling. Its delicate, sticky flavor offers the pleasant sweetness of sponge cake, red apple, and heather honey, with tart notes of tea rose, mint, and mandarin. A wonderful tea for lazy mornings and afternoons. It warms, gently refreshes, and puts you in a good mood for the entire day.

The medium-sized, naturally twisted leaves have variegated green-brown hues. The aroma of the heated leaves is sweet and biscuit-like, with notes of chocolate liqueur.
The infusion is thick and viscous, golden in color with a scarlet edge. The aroma of the finished tea is candy-like, sweet with a slight citrus tartness. The delicate, viscous taste offers the pleasant sweetness of biscuit, red apple, and heather honey, with tart notes of tea rose, mint, and mandarin. The finish is short and florally sweet.
A wonderful tea for leisurely morning and afternoon teas. It warms, gently invigorates, and sets a good mood for the entire day.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 6-7 g per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-15 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

- Water: 90-95°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 2 g per 250 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes
