An Indian red tea grown on one of the oldest Namring plantations (600–1200 m) in Darjeeling.

The medium-sized, naturally twisted leaves have variegated green-brown hues. The aroma of the heated leaves is sweet and biscuit-like, with notes of chocolate liqueur.

The infusion is thick and viscous, golden in color with a scarlet edge. The aroma of the finished tea is candy-like, sweet with a slight citrus tartness. The delicate, viscous taste offers the pleasant sweetness of biscuit, red apple, and heather honey, with tart notes of tea rose, mint, and mandarin. The finish is short and florally sweet.

A wonderful tea for leisurely morning and afternoon teas. It warms, gently invigorates, and sets a good mood for the entire day.
