A solid Bai Mu Dan, spring 2025, grade A. Delicate but not weak. Sweet, floral and herby with a light briskness. I get baked apple, meadow flowers, vanilla and dried apricot. The finish is short and fresh with berry floral sweetness. No bitterness, no flaws. For a grade A, this is very good. A seasoned drinker might want more complexity, but for everyday drinking with character, it deserves 4.5.

White tea from Fuding County.

Only the top two leaves and a bud from the tea bush are used to make this tea. The dry leaf is quite large and brittle, brownish green in colour. The aroma is mild, herbaceous-floral, slightly spicy.
