Wild White Tea from the Wilderness, Burma, AA, 2024

White tea made from wild tea leaves from the border of Burma and China.

Large leaves with a few buds and stems are pressed into a small 200g cake. The dry tea has a soft, berry-fruity aroma, with notes of meadow flowers and dried herbs.

The infusion is clear, clean, greenish-yellow in color, with a slight oiliness. The aroma is complex and multifaceted, with accents of berries, fruits, and champagne, with a floral sweetness and a slight bitterness. The taste is balanced, sweet, and silky, gradually unfolding from floral, berry, and jammy tones to deep minerality. The aftertaste is long and refreshing, with a bright acidity and lingering sweetness.

This tea is excellent for refreshing and toning in hot weather, and warming and concentrating in cold weather. Suitable for experienced connoisseurs of wild tea who appreciate a complex, changeable flavor and powerful energy.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: porcelain or glass teapot, gaiwan
• Water: 75-85°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 3-4 g per 100 ml of water

Brew in short infusions of 15-20 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 15-20 seconds.

Infusion method

Infuse for 4-5 minutes
