Appearance
Tightly rolled, neat balls with small stems, brown in color. The dried leaf aroma is rich and distinct, with notes of fruit, spices, baked goods, and honey.
Taste and aroma
The infusion is oily, dense, golden-red in color, and lightly aromatic. The tea's flavor is rich, silky, and bready-spicy, with woody, floral, and fruity berry notes, with a characteristic GABA acidity. The aftertaste is warm, refreshing, and slightly tart.
Effect
This tea warms well, relaxes the body, and focuses the mind. Suitable for slow, thoughtful tea drinking.
How to brew
Steaming
- Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
- Water: 85-90°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water
Brew in short infusions of 10-30 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.
Infusion method
- Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot
- Water: 85-90°C
- Ratio of dry tea leaves: 5 g. per 250-300 ml of water
Infuse for 3-4 minutes.
