A classically processed variety of Tie Guan Yin: before fermentation, the leaves are quite heavily damaged to ensure rapid oxidation. The fermentation process itself is stopped the day after the tea is harvested.
The balls are medium-sized, tightly twisted, dark green, without luster. The aroma of the dried tea is subtle, light, floral and fruity. The finished infusion is light yellow in color with a greenish edge, the taste is oily, thick, with notes of lilac, peach, vanilla and fruity acidity. The aftertaste is long-lasting, with floral and berry notes.
