Huang Guan Yin, ААА, 2025
The infusion is amber in color. The flavor is distinct yet soft, not too bright, reminiscent of flower nectar. Sweet, sour, and spicy combinations of flowers, fruits, and dried berries persist and linger on the palate with a long-lasting aftertaste. This tea is pleasantly relaxing and uplifting. Ideal for slow, thoughtful sipping.
A hybrid of two varieties—Tie Guan Yin and Huang Jin Gui—processed using Northern Fujian oolong technology. Light, repeated roasting allows for the full development of floral and honey notes. Huang Guan Yin combines the freshness of southern oolongs with the rich flavor of cliff teas.
Large, tawny leaves, twisted longitudinally, with a vibrant fruity aroma. The infusion is rich, deep, silky, and amber-red. The aroma of the finished tea is floral and honeyed, spicy, with a subtle nutty note. The taste is soft, honeyed, and creamy, with vibrant floral notes without astringency. A toasted note is present, but gentle, without bitterness. A long, intoxicating aftertaste.
This tea is pleasantly relaxing and uplifting. Ideal for slow, thoughtful sipping.
