Fo Shou Gao Ho, АА, 2025
The tea’s flavour is rounded and rich, with notes of berries, spices and citrus tartness, revealing new facets with every sip. A sweet, long-lasting, juicy aftertaste. The tea is ideal for thoughtful, meditative drinking.
A well-roasted oolong from northern Fujian.
This variety of oolong tea gets its name because the round tea leaf resembles an open hand, as well as the leaves of the lemon palm, a citrus plant also known as the Buddha’s palm.
The dry leaf is brownish-burgundy in colour with a sweet, rich, spicy aroma. The scent of the heated leaf is reminiscent of roasted sunflower seeds, halva and freshly baked bread. The infusion is fiery amber in colour, clear, with a subtle aroma of berries, citrus and honey. The tea’s flavour is rounded and rich, with notes of berries, spices and citrus tartness, revealing new facets with every sip. A sweet, long-lasting, juicy aftertaste.
This tea relaxes and helps gather one’s thoughts. Ideal for thoughtful, meditative tea drinking.
