Feng Huang Dan Cong, AA, 2025

A semi-fermented large-leaf oolong tea from Guangdong Province, one of the most famous Dan Cong teas. The tea is harvested from large tea trees at an altitude of 1,500 meters, and the special climate conditions give it a unique floral-tobacco flavor and aroma.

When dried, it features large, greenish-brown, longitudinally twisted leaves with a delicate floral-honey, slightly tart aroma. The infusion is clear, transparent, and amber-colored with a deep woody, honey-floral, and herbal aroma. The flavor is dense, coffee-floral, and tart, with hints of bread crust emerging as the infusions unfold. The aftertaste is juicy, sweet, and warming.

This tea is perfect for pleasant gatherings and friendly get-togethers. It gently invigorates, refreshes the senses, and evokes a feeling of lightness and joy.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: clay or ceramic teapot, gaiwan
• Water: 85-90°С
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g per 100 ml of water

Brew in short infusions of 5-10 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 10-15 seconds.
The flavor remains consistent over 7-8 infusions.

• Water: 85-90°С
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-6 g per 500 ml of water
