Lao Dan Cong, AAA, 2015
An aged "phoenix" oolong with a subtle scent of dried flowers. A golden-colored infusion with a soft, even, enveloping flavor, transitioning to oiliness. Notes of sweet pear and dried tropical fruit are noticeable. The tea is not affordable, but it is definitely worth trying at least once.
An aged "phoenix" oolong with a subtle scent of dried flowers.
A golden-colored infusion with a soft, even, enveloping flavor, transitioning to oiliness. Notes of sweet pear and dried tropical fruit are noticeable. A floral scent accompanies all infusions, becoming increasingly ghostly and transitioning to tannins. A slightly astringent, drying, hoppy aftertaste.
The tea is not affordable, but it is definitely worth trying at least once.
