A loose-leaf, fermented Chinese Shu Pu Erh tea, grade A, from Yunnan Province, a classic everyday variety, prized by many for its simplicity and reliability. This "folk" Pu Erh tea doesn't require elaborate ceremonies, yet fully reveals the character of a mature, intense flavor and a dark infusion.

The leaf is dark brown, loose, and medium-fraction, with a distinct, yet not coarse, leaf size. The infusion has a deep, rich, dark ruby-brown color.

The aroma of the warmed leaf is warm and sweet, with earthy notes of dried fruit and a light, dry woodiness. The flavor is distinctive, balanced, and sweet, with notes of spice and caramel. The aftertaste is long, rounded, and warming.

Energizing and stimulating, but without any sudden spikes. "Folk" Pu Erh focuses attention, warms the body, and helps maintain good health throughout the day. Suitable for morning and daytime tea drinking, as well as for longer work or relaxation with a cup of warm infusion.
