Sheng Pu Erh, Tea by the piece
9 PCS
The famous Xiaguan factory, located in Dali, has been known for producing Pu Erh in tocha form since 1902. According to them, it is this "nested" form that ensures proper maturation of Pu Erh.
Appearance
The tocha is densely pressed and has a dull aroma with notes of smoke and dried fruit. The steamed leaves smell of sweetness of flowers, citrus and tobacco.
Taste and aroma
The brew is cloudy and golden. The taste after the first brewing is not obvious - the minerality, dried fruitiness of dry sheng, woodiness and smokiness are noticeable. However, after one or two brews, an amazing aftertaste emerges, releasing natural sweetness, fresh peas and rhubarb acidity.
From brewing to brewing, the tea reveals all its richness and diversity. It is ideal for both steeping and brewing. For brewing we recommend 4-5 grams of tea per 100 ml of water, for brewing in a thermos - 4-5 grams per 1 liter. However, if you want to feel the pleasant bitterness of Xiaguan Sheng even more clearly - take more, you won't regret it.
