Tea cake consists of medium-sized brown-black, uniform leaves intertwined with dark orange buds. The compression is loose, which makes it easy to break up by hand. The aroma of the dried leaves is fruity, with mineral, salty, and iodine notes and a slight bitterness.

The infusion is rich, cognac-colored, with an aroma of walnuts and hazelnuts and a slight smokiness.
