Lotus Peak is a picturesque peak in the northwestern part of Wuyi's famous cliffs, offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains dotted with tea gardens. Near the summit, on a rock, is the Buddhist Monastery of the Mystic Lotus.

Dark and rather large leaves with a turquoise hue, heated by respiration, emit a bright aroma of flowers and fruits, spices and honey. When water of about 87° is added, a thick amber infusion with scarlet flashes is obtained. A rich, rough flavor that stimulates all receptors in the mouth.
