The infusion is cognac-colored with a velvety, smooth taste. Sweetness of nutmeg and Brazil nuts, fig, dark chocolate, and a hint of vanilla. Spicy and woody nuances, as well as a slight tartness of violet. The aftertaste is sweet.
The tea is loosely pressed into a 600-gram brick. The dry leaves range in color from dark brown to black. As they warm, woody and nutty aromas emerge, along with notes of chocolate, earth, and tobacco.
