The raw materials for this tea are harvested from old trees in the Madeng tea garden, located in the Zhenyuan region on the western slope of Ailao Mountain.

The large, slightly twisted dark brown bundles of tea leaves with golden buds smell all shades of smoky. There's a campfire, burning wood, oven ash and even smoked cheese with a slight honey flavor. After the first pours, the smoke disappears, giving way to the sweetness of dried fruits, apricots and tomatoes. The infusion is moderately acidic, with a light rose and mint aftertaste, slightly smoky, coffee-like. The aftertaste is long and sweet.

A morning tea for a comfortable day.
