A young Sheng Pu Erh from the Lao Ban Zhang region of Yunnan Province. Mineral-rich soils, a unique microclimate, and eco-friendly production methods give Pu-erhs from this region a distinctive and powerful flavor profile.

Dense, fleshy leaves covered in fine down are pressed into a cake of moderate firmness. The aroma of the dry leaves is vibrant and fresh, featuring notes of fruit and honey.

The liquor is clear, transparent, and full-bodied, displaying a golden-pistachio hue and a rich, viscous mouthfeel. Notes of pineapple, acacia honey, and apricot emerge, accompanied by the subtle tartness of green apple. With successive steepings, the bitterness becomes more pronounced before transitioning into honey-like sweetness. The finish is long and slightly drying, leaving a cool, minty sensation.

This tea is invigorating and refreshing, helping to clear the mind.

How to brew

Steaming

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot / gaiwan
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 4-5 g. per 100 ml water

The first steeping is for rinsing the tea.

Brew in short infusions of 5-7 seconds, gradually increasing the time by 5-10 seconds.

Infusion method

• Teaware: porcelain or clay teapot
• Water: 85-90°C
• Ratio of dry tea leaves: 1 g. per 100 ml of water

Infuse for 3-5 minutes.
