Aged Hei Cha from Guangxi province.

The raw material for this tea is harvested from old trees, and after all stages of production, the tea is necessarily aged and matured for several years. The older the tea is, the more distinctive its flavor. As the tea matures, it becomes softer, and more oily and creamy flavors appear.

The tea raw material from the natural twist can be easily broken down by hand into black leaves with golden flecks. The aroma is indistinct, earthy, reminiscent of Shu Pu Erh. The brew is thick, dark brown with woody, slightly chocolatey notes. The taste is pleasant, slightly bitter, with notes of bark, tree resin and damp forest soil, with sweet notes of chamomile, nuts and chocolate. The aftertaste is earthy and woody, tannic.

A tea with a long-lasting effect: initially stimulating, then gently calming, concentrating, restoring balance to body and spirit. Good for slow, meditative tea drinking.
