Wudong Dan Tsun ("Single shrubs from Wudong volcano"), AAA

The dry leaf is dark brown with yellow saplings, lightly fried, and has a deep floral and fruity aroma when heated with the breath. The first pour of the tea is floral, jasmine, with hints of apricot, raisin and almond. The taste is complemented by aromas of saffron, pear, basil. A slight bitterness of tangerine peel appears.

Type Oolong

Oolong grown on the volcanic soil of Wudong Peak.

The dry leaf is dark brown with yellow cuttings, slightly fried, and has a deep floral and fruity aroma when heated with the breath. The flavor of the tea is revealed smoothly and discreetly. The first infusion of the tea is floral, jasmine, with hints of apricot, raisin and almond. The infusion is golden in color, the taste is enhanced, complemented by aromas of saffron, pear, basil. A slight bitterness of tangerine peel appears. With strong brewing, the taste becomes deeper, the astringency of tree resin and eucalyptus oil appears. The aftertaste is long, slightly astringent, with grapefruit flavor and minerality, slightly drying.
