Ho Shan Huang Ya (Yellow Donuts from Ho Mountain), AAA, 2023.
Ho Shan Huang Ya (Yellow Donuts from Ho Mountain) AAA. The dry leaf welcomes confectionery notes of creamy cookies with cherry syrup and toasted crust. The taste is delicate, silky sweet. There's plenty of vanilla, cream and subtle herbs.
Yellow tea
"Yellow bud from Ho Mountain" from Anhui province.
The dry leaf envelops the aroma of a creamy sponge cake with a crisp crust and a hint of cherry syrup. When warmed, discreet vegetable notes emerge from the tea leaves. The lid of the gaiwan smells like flowering trees. The tea tastes delicate and silky sweet. It has a lot of vanilla, cream, subtle greens. The tea calms you down, makes your thoughts disappear almost immediately. We recommend brewing with water at a temperature not higher than 80 degrees.
Pros and Cons: For the first three brews, the flavor, aroma and impact remain in balance. Further brewing brings out a grassy aftertaste with bitterness from the tea leaves, and the delicate texture gradually disappears.
A delicate yellow tea with a spicy aroma, slightly salty. Slender delicate buds, as if selected. Perceptible aroma of bun with vanilla and a glass of milk. The infusion о a rather pale hue, yet full of subtle aromas and flavors. We recommend drinking it in the morning, when the taste buds are still undisturbed. But not right after brushing your teeth, as it will be a vain attempt. The tea tickles the nose with its aroma as befits the noticeable bay leaf and white pepper in the fragrance. The taste is spicy with a delicate sweetness. A soothing tea ideal for meditation and a journey into oneself.
