High altitude Te Guan Yin tea produced in Xianhua village in Fujian province. The tea plantations are located at an altitude of more than 1,000 meters: temperature changes slow down the development of the tea leaves, allowing them to accumulate more beneficial components and develop more complex flavors and aromas.
The hemispherical nodes of the tea leaves are bright green and emerald in color. The aroma of the dry leaf is classic for Te Guan Yin: lilac, jasmine, fresh herbs and citrus. The taste of the finished tea is buttery, fresh, floral, with notes of wood, caramel, honey, citrus and fruit. The aftertaste is enveloping, with a slight acidity.
Perfectly refreshing and puts you in a creative mood. It is suitable for both morning tea drinking and quiet evening sittings.
