A versatile red tea for all occasions.
Grown in the highlands of Fujian province, the tea undergoes the necessary processing that is applied to all xiaozhong teas, but without the smoking stage. This allows the dry tea leaves to retain the aroma of bread crust and dried plums without the intrusive smoky flavor that not everyone likes. The infusion has a deep ruby color with a golden rim, a rich flavor, honey and chocolate, thick and sweet, passing into a light caramel. The aftertaste is long, discreet, slightly sweet.
A stable, calm, pleasant tea for daily consumption.
