Kuding has wide-ranging medicinal properties: diuretic, antipyretic, detoxifying, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial, normalizes lipid and carbohydrate metabolism, normalizes blood pressure, lowers blood sugar, improves digestive function, and has antioxidant properties.
The drink is prepared in the same way as tea - dry tea leaves are poured over hot water and brewed. When preparing kuding, it is important to follow the temperature regime: brewing with 100-degree water produces a drink with the bitterness of wormwood, brewing with 40-50 degree water produces a drink with a delicate, refined taste. Kuding is especially loved by Chinese doctors, who drink it to keep the heart working properly (lots of potassium + helps avoid colds). For brewing, do not take a lot of Kuding tea - 1-2 needles per person is enough.
