A 100-gram Tea cake of medium thickness, consisting of twisted dark brown leaves and red buds. The aroma is very restrained, woody. The infusion is clear, chestnut in color.
The bouquet of the finished tea is mature and woody, with notes of unfired clay, walnut, oak moss and rotten leaves. The aroma is low, woody and balsamic. The taste is soft, velvety, sweet, pleasantly tart, with a slight fruity acidity.
Brew with hot water (95°C) in a porous clay teapot or gaiwan. Proportion of dry tea to water: 7 g per 100 ml. Allow to steep for 15 seconds the first time, then drink immediately, gradually increasing the exposure.
An excellent choice for daily tea drinking. The result is a warming, gentle tonic.
