A 5-gram tea ball, heavily pressed from gray-brown, twisted tea leaves and buds. The aroma is very restrained, woody. The infusion is clear, white grape in color.
The bouquet of the finished tea is spicy and herbal with woody, fruity and nutty notes. The aroma is delicate, spicy-herbal with a hint of leather. The taste is dense, silky, sweet, slightly tart, with fruity acidity, nuances of spice and a lingering finish.
Brew with hot water (90-92°C) in a porous clay teapot or gaiwan. For a volume of 100 ml, the recommended first exposure is 50 seconds. Then make short steeps (10-15 seconds), increasing the steeping time with each successive step, if necessary. The tea can be brewed up to 8 times.
"Sheng Xiao Qiu" is a good choice to boost energy during the day. The effect is refreshing, tonic.
