Young Sheng Pu Erh from Yunnan province.
The tea is harvested from old trees growing at 1,800 meters above sea level. The thin long light gray with golden tinted needles smell of dry field herbs, pear and apple. The infusion is clear, bright, greenish-gold, with a balanced candy flavor: sweet apple, honey, mango with a sour taste of bergamot and a fresh hint of mint. The pleasant mild aftertaste is fresh, a little intoxicating. If you hold the infusion, the drink becomes tart, bitter and sticky.
An invigorating, refreshing Sheng for a beautiful morning.
