A famous red tea from Fujian province.
The tea leaf is twisted into small, slightly curved needles of dark brown with a touch of golden color. When warmed by the breath, the scent of flowers, honey and fresh muffin is noticeable. The infusion has the color of cognac, is deep, very beautiful. The taste is sweet, caramel, warm, moderately tart. There are tobacco notes, apricot jam, dried plums and rye bread with a slight citrus acidity. Long pleasant aftertaste with apple and honey notes and slight bitterness.
Very strong infusion and too hot water give tannins and pronounced bitterness. If you like it - experiment!
A warming, soothing tea to lift your mood.
