Bergamot is a pear-shaped lemon. We have it in the form of dried slices. It is a citrus plant known all over the world, from China to Italy. Its taste and aroma is quite specific, sour, but with spicy and bitter notes. It is excellent for refreshing and cleansing receptors. It is great in summer, in cold tea, and blends well with both white and red tea. It is not usually drunk in its pure form, but as an additive it is ideal.
Favorite use from tea-mail.co.uk: inexpensive white tea, such as Shou Mei or Bai Mu Dan, with a slice of bergamot.
