A classic black tea from Thailand, aged in traditional wicker baskets.
Thanks to the uneven maturation of the tea in the baskets, this hei cha tea is very different in flavor and aroma.
The dry leaf is large, dark, with some stems. The aroma of the dry tea is earthy, moist, with notes of decayed leaves and mushrooms. The infusion has a deep brown-orange color, is thick, with a saturated, warm aroma of roasted vegetables and woody notes. The taste shows walnut with notes of nutmeg, beets and dried rose with a slight bitterness. The aftertaste is enveloping, dense and tart.
The tea warms, relaxes, sets the mind and heart to contemplation. Perfect for moments when you need to disconnect from everyday life.
