On the warming inhale, the aroma of spring greens, frosty freshness and sweetness of mountain flowers. On the heated teapot, the sweet aroma of flowering pears with citrus acidity.
After the first pour, the aroma is dominated by ripe pears and sorrel. The water temperature is 87°C, and the tea requires either a rinse or a longer steeping for the first pour, as the twist is quite thick and will not open immediately. The infusion is light green, clear and oily. The taste is illuminating, subtle and light. Sweetness of saffron, hops, apricot, jasmine, pear, lilac, bamboo, freshly cut grass, spinach and green grapes. The sour tones of the taste are expressed by green apple, basil, lime, lily and orchid. The aftertaste is lingering, mesmerizing with the fresh sweetness of flowers, herbs and fruits with refined acidity and metallic saltiness. The tea has beautiful green and supple leaves with no damage.
